    Increase by one upon load

    Hi,

Is there a formula that will add 1 to a number contained in a cell each time the page is reloaded. I'm hoping that if there is it could be used as a unique ID for a worksheet each time it is opened and used.

I assume this could be done using VBA, but I know less than nothing about VBA so please dont take me down that road!!

    Many thanks

    Thank you Mudraker,

Going through the formulas I did find that using a circular reference works, as long as you dont mind the figure updating itself everytime you save, login or logout!!!!

Thanks for your time and feedback
