    Copying non-adjacent cells

I need to easily copy non-adjacent cells from one column to another. I have searched the web to no avail. It would seem easy to do but excel fills in the blank that was in the original column when the copy goes to C column. If I try to Copy A1 & A3 to C1 & C3 Using the CTL Key (high liting A1 & A3)of course... I get the result with the blank space filled. Any ideas to copy & keep intact. I prefer not to copy the whole column & deselect because data exists in the C column. Thanks

    select A1:A3
    Copy
    Go to C1
Paste special > select "Skip blanks"
I need your support to add reputations if my solution works.

    nonadjacent answer did not help.

Your reply is correct however I will try to clarify the problem. Take your answer and instead of highliting all 3 cells:

Your answer with the way we need to do it.
    select A1:A3 (Instead use below)
(select 2 cells using Ctl & left click mouse to hilite A1 & A3 ONLY, Excel won't work as below and it slides A3 up to C2)
    Copy
    Go to C1
Paste special > select "Skip blanks"

It is a problem but we need to copy this info intact into another column.

    Thanks
