How to disable auto-hyperlink?

How do you disable the function that automatically creates a hyperlink when you put someones e-mail into a cell? I don't necessarily mind it except it always comes up as a different font (usually larger than I want).

Which version of Excel? In 2003 it's under the Autocorrect options.
