time conversion

I am trying to show time as a number and have no problem until i go over 24 hours.....for example I show 23:49:00 as 23.82 hours (good) but when I get to 24:02:00 I get .03 hours instead of 24.03 hours. Any suggestions

Which formula are you using?

If time is in A1 just multiply by 24, i.e. use this formula in B1

=A1*24

format B1 as number
