Windows in Taskbar becomes unchecked automatically

Everytime I open a spreadsheet that has "sharing" turned on, my Windows in Taskbar option becomes unchecked. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know of a solution?

Are you sure it happens everytime when you open the file?
    I have tried, nothing happened

Yes, without exception, it happens everytime I open a shared file. I forgot to mention I am on Excel 2000.

I also work with Excel 2000 and double checked and you are correct; when you load a shared document, Excel unchecks the Windows in Toolbar option. Not sure if there is a workaround. You could set up a macro which reticks that box on opening but would need to put that into every shared document.
