I get a Run-Time error'57121':
Allication-defined or object-defined error
On the same sheet that returns 1 for count?
Well...I must have done something. I closed and reopened the spreadsheet...entered it and it didnt say anything...but when I went to protect the worksheet and clicked on something I got the same original error message. - repeated your steps and now it says 0 oleobjects - still gives me the same original error message.
I noticed it also then puts me in Design mode - although the sheet is protected.

I ended up reverting back to an older version (Thank god I save older versions!) and re-traced the changes I made...still not sure what went wrong and where...but the new sheet is seemingly working fine now.
Thanks for the trying...I did learn about the Immediate Window...nice to know it exists!
