    Problem with paste special

    Hi,
I run a website for a softball association where we post statistics. The data for each team is kept in separate Excel files and I then use a summary file that contains the data for each team under a separate tab.
As I prepared the summary file for the next season, I found that I was not able to use paste special as I have in the past. Previosly when I clicked on the upper left cell where I wanted the data pasted and right-clicked, a form would appear and I would select the Paste Link and the copied cells would appear. Each week I added new data to the team's files and the summary sheet would then update.
As I was preparing the summary file for this season, something changed. When I did the copy in the team file and then attempted to do a Paste Special in the summary file, a new form appeared. The form is also named Past Special and allows me to Paste or Paste link via a radio button for one of several options. I tried the Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet Object and that did not work for me. I then tried the Microsoft Excel 8.0 Format. The problem with this option is that the entire array is defined and I can not delete any cell as I was able to do in the past.
Thanks for reading this. I look forward to your help.
    Joe
