Pulldown list opens out of view

I have created a test with pulldown lists for answer choices. All is fine until the file is opened on a computer with a smaller monitor or I can re-create it by reducing view to 75%. At that point when you click on the arrow for pull down... the box opens way to the left and you can't see the the first several characters. column width is 111 at font10 . Is there a fix? without going to larger monitors. excel2002

    make data validation larger

OK I followed directions on link and I see what you are suggesting. And I tried it. But making the column longer or increasing to higher % with the view code does not help. Longer is still out of view far left. Higher % places the drop down arrow out of view on the right. Is there no way for the drop down list to "center"
