College Project - How to create a database for golf scores

Hi everyone,

What im trying to do is create a database for golf scores. Basically what i need help with is i have created a sheet that allows the user to enter the details of a golf course such as the name, its par, and details for each of the holes. I have also created a sheet which will allow the user to enter a round of golf at a particular golf course. What i want to happen is when the user enters the golf course details they can then click a submit button which will store these details somewhere and then clear the form so that they can enter a new set of details, then on the input sheet that allow the user to enter a round of golf i would like them to be able to select a golf course that has already been entered, which will then fill out a score card with all the details of that course.

I think you should be able to understand this, its quite hard to explain but any help on how to do this would be great.

Do you want the user to be able to select a golf course FROM A LIST OF COURSES and then enter their scores for the 18 holes, then store that score somewhere, in other words if there are 50 golfers and 20 courses, over a season you would collect thousands of sets of scores......

yea thats basically it, but rather than have it for a number of golfers it will be for personal use. Kind of a training tool to analyze your scores.

Well ive created a tab for the user to input course details and ive created a tab for the user to enter details of a round but apart from the simple SUM calculations thats all it does. What i need to know is what is the best way to store course details, then when the user wants to input his/her scores they are able to select a golf course which will then bring up the details of that hole. The easiest way to describe it is to imagine a golf score card, it has details of each hole (par, yards etc), when the user selects a course that has already been input using the other tab, all these details are filled. Once the user has input all of their scores these are then also saved somewhere.
