In order to print duplex in excel you need to create another printer with duplex printing set as default.
The in code you can change the active printer.
hi andy
the printer at work allows duplex printing on the one machine as it switches it over itself
can i not get excel to record what im doing in printer properties or is that not possible?
You can only print them double sided if your printer is capable, as far as i know!
That said you can bring up the printer dialogue box and select what you want to do from there its done like this:
![]()

Not all forums are the same - seek and you shall find
You can try recording but I doubt you will get anything.
In word you could, with code, tell the page to print duplex.
But not in excel.
So you need to add another printer queue. It will point to the same physical printer but the default setting will be duplex.
thanks andy
