    Creating Calendar From Outlook

    Hey,

I was wondering if there is any easy way to publish a calendar in excel using data pulled from an outlook calendar? My end goal is to have a calendar which other people at my firm can access, but I am using Outlook 2002, so there is no easy way to share it between users so I thought maybe there was some way I could use excel to accomplish my goal

I don't have Outlook 2002 installed, so can't test this, but you should be able to export your calendar to an xls file, if not an Excel-friendly format that you can then import in Excel.

Looking at Outlook 2007, this is found under 'File' by choosing 'Import and Export', then you choose to export the file in Excel format. This creates a file that opens directly in Excel.

Try looking for something like that in Outlook 2002; I suspect your answer is in that area...

    Good luck!

So that method successfully allowed me to export the data, albeit not in a calendar format, Any ideas on how to easily transform this raw data into an actual calendar now in excel? (Thanks for the help thus far!)

I don't think there is an easy way. It would require setting up a format in a separate sheet and then using Lookups and INDEX to bring everything over. Best to delete columns that are unimportant or unused, modify your column widths with wrap text and use that.

Did you ever figure this out. I'm trying to do the exact same thing?
