# of Hours between 2 dates with time

i have 2 cells with following Time stamp:

10/13/2008 8:28 AM

10/15/2008 11:44 AM

I need formula to calculate # of hours and min between the two..

If dates are in A1 and B1 then in C1 enter =B1-A1 & format [h]:mm

With the above data, this would give 3hr 16 min ( 3:16) which is not correct hr:mm

Try: 24*(B1-A1), with cell formatted as number (=51.27 hrs)
