applying copy above action to a selection

I know I could apply a CTRL + D and copy the above cell, but is there a way for me to a highlight a range of cell (which can vary in size) and copy the above cell.
Currently I include in the selection range the above cell and pressing F2, followed by a CTRL + ENTER, I have it copied to the rest.
I tried recording a Relative Reference Macro, but the problem results is the copied cell records a for defined amount of cells.

I am aware of that short cut key, however I am looking for a VBA Code that with single stroke key I am able to copy the above cell to a dynamic selection.
