Hyperlinks won't work when I re-open file

I am trying to save hyperlinks in excel, and when I initially add them, they work fine. However, after I save them and close the spreadsheet and then re-open it, the hyperlinks are disabled with an error message telling me the path does not exist. Can anyone tell me why this is so? Thanks

Right click the cell with hyperlink, then select "Edit typerlink", check out the address.
