    Bullet list in cell

The link below shows a great way to apply bullet formatting to text in a cell for a group of cells, with one caveat. It only applies the bullet formatting to the first line of text in the cell; the remaining lines do not have bullets.

    Two questions:

    1) Is there a way to modify this method to place a bullet for each text line?
    2) Can text be aligned to stay indented to the right of the bullet for multi-line bullet points?

    Thanks,

    Art

I think there is no method to do what you need.
Why not use word if you need to format the text well
or just split the one cell to several cells then make bullet to each cell?
I need your support to add reputations if my solution works.

Sure, just repeat the procedure of inserting a bullet at the beginning of each line in the cell.

Not possible; Excel will not do a hanging indent.

Thanks for the responses. I am not sure what you mean by, "repeat the procedure of inserting a bullet at the beginning of each line in the cell."

I can manually insert the – in front of each line followed by a space. The link describes formatting the cell which I took to mean that all the lines in the cell would receive the – placed in front of the @, but it only happens on the first text line.

    What am I missing?

I was looking at the first method in your link, manually inserting a bullet at the beginning; that process you could repeat at the beginning of each line in the cell.

To get a bullet on each new line in a cell, you could do find and replace line feed (Alt+010) with a line feed and a bullet, or maybe two line feeds, a bullet, and one or more spaces.

Or VBA could do the equivalent.
