    Disable mouse and keyboard

    Hello,

I am using this code to temporarily disable the keyboard and mouse

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Although it works fine, I think it causes my system to crash at random times. I am not quite sure yet whether this is the real cause.

I also tried to use "Application.Interactive=False" in the open workbook event but it doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to temporarily disable the mouse and keyboard completely for all applications?

    thanks in advance

application.interactive pertains to the application... hence the name

Why do you want to prevent user interface to all applications?

Messing with computer settings isn't nice...

thanks for this but there might be some "not so nice" users who will want to interfere with the procedure and obtain sensitive information.

I would appreciate if there was an enforceable way to stop keyboard/mouse for a couple of seconds.
