    Sorting Cells Merged Column

    I have a sheet (attached) that I would like to sort the rows.

    The problem is that cells A2:A5 are merged but the cells to the right of them are not.
    Cells A6:A9 are merged into one but the cells to the right of them are not. Is there any way to sort the rows based on the information in column A and keep the information in the columsn/cells to the right???
