At startup, open all files in: won't open my file

I inserted a file location under the General tab in the Advanced section under Excel Options, to have all files in this folder open at startup. This folder contains my personal.xlsm file. Unfortunately, at startup, my personal file does not open. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would recommend checking your file path.

For a folder on my desktop, this works for me:

    C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Desktop\Folder Name
