In the attached workbook, column A is random numbers between 0 and 10, Column B is the weighted average.

Cells D2 to D6 give the weighting factors.

One could make it more general, for example the number of values included in the average, different number of values before and after the central point, etc. by using the OFFSET function to allow a variable range of points to be addressed.
