I think that this is a no-brainer and i'm just missing a button somewhere. I'm using Excel 2007 if that helps.
I'm trying to take a reference to something
ex: in cell B27 i have the formula =B8
I want to take whatever pops up in B27 (as it changes week to week)
and convert that into a string.
The file i have has several worksheets where these references are needed (there are 16 of these total).
I cannot use the references in the worksheets, i need the actual strings that the referencing to.
ex: Say that in B8 i have the word "falcon"
"falcon" appears down in B27. but in the formula bar, it still says =B8
is there a way to display "falcon" in B28 and have it say "falcon" in the formula bar. That way i can copy the auto generated falcon to elsewhere in the book?
I'm not sure if i'm clear here, please let me know. Thank you all for your help!
