How to delete discontinued items

    A couple of ways I can think of.

    1) Use the advanced filter. If you set up a criteria range that has all the item keys that you want to remove, then you could filter out the items you want to keep. Bit tricky to set up, but you could use this approach.

    2) Use code to cycle through the delete items, and remove the lines from the original.

    If either of these are acceptable, then advise your preference, and some structure details so we can assist you with a solution.

    Thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately I am not experienced in Excel. Could you explain what you mean by "code".

    By "code", I mean create a macro that will process the items.
