I was pasting tables from the web into worksheets and they were pasting fine into the columns and rows by simply copying them and pasting them to one cell. I changed the format in one column and now Excel seems to have changed some hidden value and tables all paste into a single column. Any idea what optional value has changed and where to find it so I can change it back? I have spent some time looking and cannot find it anywhere. I am running Excel 2007 in Vista Ultimate SP1.

It is really frustrating when applications change these things for us without asking. I tried undoing the format and it didn't help. I also tried shutting Excel down without saving any changes and that didn't help either. I have hunted through the help files and forums to no avail as of yet.
