Conditional Formatting help

Hi,

I am new here and was looking for some help. I currently have 2 cells with a formula who's result is a number that represents a range. I also have a user input cell where a technician can enter a measurement. I want to use conditional formatting to turn the user input red or green based on if the user input is between the results of the formulas in the 2 previously mentioned cells. How can I do this????

Invoke Format|Conditional Formatting.

Cell Value Is >> Between >> =$A$1 and =$A$2

Click format and choose Green from Pattern tab...

Click Add

Cell Value Is >> Not Between >> =$A$1 and =$A$2

Click Format and choose Red from Pattern Tab

Click Ok

Click Ok to Finish.

Note: I assumed A1 and A2 contain input range values... adjust as necessary
