Clicking Highlights 3 cells??

When I click on a cell in excel, it automatically highlights the cell a click and then the 2 under is as well. It is driving me nuts. it only a a certain sheet. What gives??

Primera1 - Could you provide more clarity in terms of what it is you are trying to achieve? To me, your post didnt make much sense.

Could it be a mouse setting

Usually when you use the mouse to click on a cell, only the cell is highleted. Example, you drag over A36 and you click on it. You are then ready to enter data. When I click on A36, it highlights A36, A37, and A38. I can't figure it out...

Any macro present?

Well, to make things more complicated, it only happens on one specific worksheet. Even more crazy is it only happens SOMETIMES. Weird, i know. No macros are present.
