Im such an excel newbie, ill try to explain my thinking here and if it still comes out a garbled mess, ill come back once I have a better understanding of excel.
Say my formula was X+1=Z
X being the variable, Z being the result, and I wanted to find the solution if the variable "X" was
X=1 (Example A)
X=2 (Example B)
X=3 (Example C)
X=4 (Example D)
X=5 (Example E)
.
.
.
X=35... all the way to 50.
is there a way to have excel output the solutions individually to examples "A" through "E" without having to go to each cell and type in x=1 then x=2 then x=3 etc.
Thanks again - GK
wow, just wow. Im trying to make things as complicated as possible here and look like a real donkey in the process, let me phrase my question again, this time sans idiotic psychobabble
I wanted excel to autofill cells with the numbers 1 through 50 in squential order, but seeing as im looking at a tutorial on how to do that right now, im just gonna stop typing and hope this post fades into obscurity.
Ill keep the basic questions to myself untill ive put some time into learning excel![]()
Don't be too hard on yourself. We all started somewhere.
