Input Data that automaticaly adds to list and clears for next entry

Im creating a small database in excel but want the user to be able to type info into 3 headers First name last name and Date of birth push a button and have that data add to the bottom of the data already input.

The database will be relatively small, but i want to do it this way so the user can eventualy run some queries(but thats another days work)

Can the above be done without VB or access? i have a small understanding of both.

    Data entry

If you will seed your database with the headers and a few records, place the cursor anywhere within the table, and select Data/Form form the menus, you will see a small data-entry form pop up which should do what you need done.

    Thanks Seckert,

Im trying to set up a macro to select this form when the user clicks a button on the excel sheet, but the macro wont do what im asking and giving me an error - "Microsoft cannot determine which rows in your list contains column labels which are required for this to work.

when recording the macro im selecting a cell inside the area - this works fine when i do it manualy...any sugestions?

when i click to activate the Macro it and press ok to the error above it still only displays 2 headings and the first heading is a number 39306 instead of the heading first name - all my headings are formatted as text.
