Exclamation Question - Automatically have date change for Recurring Monthly

    Hi,

I have one column in my sheet that expresses the date on which each of my customer's billing date is due.

I'd like to have a formula connected to real-time, meaning when in reality the billing date has passed, the month will change to the next month. This will show a recurring monthly date change for monthly subscriptions.

    For example,

    (date = July 27, 2008)
    Column 1:
July 28, 2008 <--- This is the billing due date

    (date = July 29, 2008)
    Column 1:
August 28, 2008 <--- This is the new billing date because in real-time we've passed the old billing date, which should automatically change the billing due date to the next month.

If anyone can please help me in figuring this out I'd appreciate it very much. Thank you in advance!

    G.R.

We would need to see a sample workbook for the layout and formatting as your date that you have isn't an excel date! it's a custom format unless its been typed in.
Not all forums are the same - seek and you shall find

    Hrm,

I set it up so others would understand it, but apparently it's not clear enough heh.

I basically want the sheet to express the monthly change in the date column.

In one column you'll have all the customer's names, but in the column next to it, there would be the billing dates corresponding to the customer.

    So let's say today's date is 02/01/08

    John Doe - 02/02/08
    Jane Doe - 02/03/08
    Sean Doe - 02/04/08

    etc.

I'd like it if possible that the month changes to the next once the date is passed.

So now let's say today's date is 03/01/08... this should reflect in the date column as:

    John Doe - 03/02/08
    Jane Doe - 03/03/08
    Sean Doe - 03/04/08
