Autofit not working

I am driving myself nuts over what seems to be a simple issue. Can anyone tell me why a single cell with plain text that doesn't exceed max cell size won't autofit correctly. To test just paste the following text in a cell then wrap text. Then choose double click the edge of the row to autofit and you will see that it cuts off the last sentence.

"The brown bunny looks funny ha ha ha. Well why won't I autoexpand when wrapped? The brown bunny looks funny ha ha ha. Well why won't I autoexpand when wrapped? The brown bunny looks funny ha ha ha. when you go into "format cells" - "allignment" set the "text allignment" - "vertical" to "top" that should do the trick,
