too many files in .dat format ..

Hello guys,

so the problem is that i have 3300 .dat files, which contain misspelling words , i need to fix each spelling in each word in these 3300 files.
i was thinking about to convert the dat files into an excell spreadsheet and then do the replacing thing .. well, my bad that i am not really sure of the rightous of the processure plus that i dont know the formulas how to replace the words ..

help me please : )

I think you can open dat files as text files in xl.
Right-click on the file
Select Open With
select Excel
Follow the wizard

As for replacements, in XL do Ctrl+H and fill in the necessary fields

well, i think i need to clarify myself again, i meant that i have 3300 .dat files all alone, do you think that i can merge them all together in one solid file and then convert it into excel spreadsheet ! i mean is that possbile ?

maybe there is a macro script that helps us in this matter.
