Greetings:

My wife recently bought a used car with a five digit keyless entry code, which unfortunately has been lost. The dealership wanted to charge $80 to run a computer scan for it, and we were wondering if it was reasonable to set up an excel spreadsheet to test all the possible combinations/permutations.

We know it will be a five digit code, using buttons labelled (1/2) (3/4) (5/6) (7/8) (9/0). Numbers can be repeated, but the code is no greater nor less than 5 digits. Whether the number is one or two, for example, you would still press the same button once. Thoughts on how to set this up?

Thanks in advance.
