Sort by formula

I have got two columns and I want to sort them by the biggest number but return the cell to the left of that i.e

Cats 10
Dogs 7
Chickens 5
Rats 9

I want to sort them to be like this but by using a formula

Cats 10
Rats 9
Dogs 7
Chickens 5

Could anyone help me please
