currently i have setup that the spreadsheet takes the clock out time and subtracts the clock in time to get how many hours worked...one issue i have is if someone starts in the PM and leaves in the AM i get an ######## in my total column...cells are formatted as 00:00 AM

any ideas this is what i have which works except for the midnight change 
=sum(b1-a1)
