    Date Format-Make Month CAPITALS

I have a date (use today, 7/1/2008) as an example.

I'm uploading a file and our tech group insists that the date format be:

    d/mmm/yyyy

BUT...they want/need the month to be in capitals so it's d/MMM/yyyy.

You'd think this would be easy but it's not. I've tried a lot of different ways but can't make this happen except to change the date string into text.

Any ideas how to convert the mmmm into MMMM without losing the date formatting?

    Thanks....

Good Question. One method I could think of is to use a font which uses only capital letters.

You can convert your dates with the following formula:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
This assumes that your date(s) are in column A, cell 1. Simply copy the formula down for each applicable date, then paste>special>values before sending the file.
