    sharing an excel workbook

    Hi

i've recently found that workbooks can be shared (in excel 2003) by going through tools --> share workbook --> then clicking "Allow changes by more than one user..."

This works really well apart from when it comes to graphs. The graphs themselves can't be altered until the sharing option is removed. Does anyone know why this is?

    Cheers, Sam

    Good morning samg27

Shared workbooks are fab aren't they? At least, they would be if they worked properly .

There are a whole host of features that don't work with shared workbook. Charts (objects) and pivot charts can be viewed but not altered. For a full list of unavailable features, type "shared workbooks" in the help box, and then select "Features that are unavailable in shared workbooks". There are lots of them.
