    Publish Spreadsheet

    Hi Guys,

I have created a spreadsheet for a company which is now completed, but I am unsure of the next step. What I want to do is have some sort of program that runs excel or selecteing something within excel so that the customer cant edit any formula's and so on.

Another thing is, is there a way to change the icon of of microsoft excel for that file, so that it display something to do with the website.

I may not of explained very well, but something like eg. if you created a website in a program you then publish for use on the web.

    Thanks

    Good afternoon leighmills33

You've created a spreadsheet and now you want to run it on-line and allow users to access it via a browser? Is that what you're after?

Spreadsheet Converter claims that it can do just this. I have never actually used it, but would be very interested to see a project that has been put together using it. It's not that cheap either at $149 but it makes some pretty bold claims via its website - if you want something cheaper try Googling "convert excel to asp" or something similar.
