copy highlighted rows from Auto filter

hi

I have three columns A(week nr), B(machine nr), and C (nr. of defects). i have turned on the 'Auto filter' and selected 'machine nr 2' so i get all the rows matching the entries for machine nr 2, i highlighted the rows and in another sheet i pasted the entries but instead of copying only 'machine nr 2' rows, the excel also copied all the rows which are between the highlighted rows. does anyone know how can i copy only rows matching machine 2 ?

Here is how. Select the rows you want to copy then...

1) On the menu bar click Edit
2) Click Go To...
3) Click the button labeled Special...
4) Click the Radio button labeled Visible Cells Only
