    Hyperlinking Errors in Excel

    Hello helpful people -

I am trying to link through Excel, and I have found a strange error:

The links work, but only if that URL is in the IE cache already! Otherwise, I get a "Cannot download the information you requested" error. Once I copy the link to IE, visit it there, then I can go back into Excel and the link will click through...

    It's very odd.

I'm using the HYPERLINK function: =HYPERLINK("=HYPERLINK("http://[removed_for_security]/rip/showProjectDetails.do?projectId="&A9)
and I've verified the links are correct (especially as the error only happens if the link is NOT in the cache)

Anyone have ANY clue on how to fix this?

    Update:
A coworker tried on his computer, and did not have the same problem...

Is it possible it has something to do with security rights, somehow?

    Bump!

Any ideas? I'm completely stymied and can't find anything on the web that might help me out here...
