    Pivot Table fromatting help

    Hi,
this is probably a simple question but I havnt for the life of me figured this out yet.

I'm working in Excel07 and i have a data source with multiple row entries that contain the same row label so by default the pivot table only labels the row once and for all other entries it goes right under as a blank i.e: please see image attached

Is there an option to populate the row entry (Arizona) all the way down so there's no blanks in the data?

    Thanks for the help!

I got too excited for a solution and didn't realize that this solution isn't for a pivot table. I could really use a solution for a pivot table.....

You normally don't want to submit anything via e-mail with a pivot table. Depending on the size of data you are analyzing, it usually makes the file tremendously large...(at least 10mb or greater).

I usually do all the formatting that needs to be done with the pivot table functions then copy and paste it into a separate workbook. Keep your original document with the pivot table separate so you can easily update it in the future.

However, this doesn't answer your actual question because I don't know if you can fill in the blanks on a pivot table I'm interested in finding out if you can though

I am already doing what you say, taking the data from the pivot table and pasting it into another sheet. But I am having to copy the headers down every few rows for over 1500 rows. This is a pain in the @%#. I find it completely ridiculous that you can't specify whether you'd like the labels to repeat or not.

have you tried freezing windows? just highlight row 2 and freeze window...

If you want to keep a column or two showing on the left side, just click in cell b2 (or c2, d3, etc...depending on how many left columns you want to show) and then freeze window.
