Unable to Read File

We have a file in work that we use to record our hours worked.

The file is password protected.

We went to open the file this morning and entered the password 3 times (it is definitely correct) and after the third time the "Unable to Read File" error message.

There are no pivot tables in operation and I have tried many different ways of opening the file, but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.
