I am working on a worksheet that I need to round some numbers up in a
cell.
I need to make sure that they round up to the nearest $.05. For instance, if the amount is $16.43, I want it to round up to $16.45. If the number is $16.46 i want it to round up to $16.50.
Can you give me the formula to do that?

Try:
=CEILING(A1,0.05) where A1 contains original

Finding good help when you are as slow as I am is hard to do.
Actually I did try that formula and what I got was $17.00. It is rounding it up too much, to the nearest dollar vice nearest nickle.
Any other suggestions?

That did work. I was using roundup vice ceiling. Thank you.
If I type 16.43 in A1, I get 16.45 in my result cell
