Excel 2007 : Insert BMP problem with Excel 2007

Hi Everybody,

From my application I use Excel to generate some reports.

With Excel 97, 2002, 2003 I simply select the cell and insert the BMP.

With Excel 2007 all the images seem to be inserted in one place, not where I am selecting.

Does anyone know why this would happen or what can be done to solve this issue?

Hi Andy, Thanks for the reply.

It's not that the BMP is not in the right position in the cell, it's actually not going into the correct cell.

I have about 10 BMP files that should be going into 10 different cells. What is happening in 2007 is that all the images are being placed on top of one another (overlaid).

It works perfectly fine in older versions of excel, just not 2007.

Yes the insert on pictures in 2007 appears to act differently to previous versions. The image appears in a program decided location rather than relative to the active cell.

So in answer to your question "what can be done to solve this issue" I provided you code that will place the picture realtive to the cell you specify.

What programming lang, are'nt you using VBA?

I use xHarbour and Fivewin.

The code is similar but a few adjustments had to be made.
