    Starting point

    Hi,

I am working with a template where users are reprsenting dates with text such Qtr1 2008, Qtr2 2008......, Qtr3 2009, etc. I can convert these to dates but where I am having trouble is in having the correct year be represented as the worksheets could be used for this year, next year, or even two years from now. I need to reference a specic date for other calculations and the text "Qtr1 2008" doesn't cut it.

    Thanks,
    LouP

From your discription this might help

Load the workbook and change the date in A1 the other dates will reflect change. Or you could use the today() function.
