disappearing scroll bar from the forms toolbar

hi,

I can't seem to work out why my scroll bar disappears. The error can be recreated simply by opening a new workbook, inserting a scroll bar from the forms toolbar, then adding a text box with a cell link. If the scroll bar is then clicked on it disappears after. If the cell link in the text box is removed then scroll bar stops disappearing??

im using microsoft excel 2003.

any help would be much appreciated.

Looks like a bug. Although I can not get the search criteria right in order to find any previously posted information.

Here is a work around.

Assign a macro to the scrollbar
