    increasing/decreasing by one

    Hi,
I would like to increase/decrease by 1 the content of a cell by using the up and down arrow keys.
Does anyone knows an easy way, possibly not using a macro, to do that?
    thanks for any help

Nope - not without using a macro, but it's really easy - read on.

Open your workbook, and press Alt + F11, and then go to Insert > Module.
An empty window will open. Copy the code below into the window. Read the code - there's nothing scary to it, it does exactly what yu requested :
Please Login or Register to view this content.
Now go to File > Close and Return to Microsoft Excel.
Now go to Tools > Macro > Macros, and select "test" from the box and click Run. Nothing will appear to happen, except a 0 will appear in cell A1. now use the up/down buttons to change its value.

    Your first macro!
