Excel 2007 : Strange gridline problem

Recently my orgnization switched from 2003 to 2007 and at first i thought this could be an installation problem or software issue but my computer is the only one. Any way what it is the default gridlines are gone all i have is a blank sheet this problem also exists in my Access when i view the tables ive tried reinstalling and checked every gridline option there is so im just wondering if any one else has had this problem. Ive also checked the display settings i did not have this problem with 2003 same computer. Thanks for any help
