Minus Values

Hello,

what is the possible way to enter the minus Values in Hours format in spreat sheet

for Example I want to enter in A1 Cell: -18:30

it is not allowing to enter the same

and end i have to add all the employees hours (including minus hours and positive hours)

hope it is clear.

By default Excel doesn't allow negative times (or dates) but you can use negative time if you switch to 1904 date system. To do this

Tools > Options > Calculation > 1904 date System

Be careful if you change to this. Any existing dates in your worksheet will change by 4 years.

Another option would be to use decimals rather than time format, i.e. -18.5 rather than -18:30
