    Excel Template change to auto naming on openning .xlt

    when I open an workbook.xlt, the open file comes up as workbook1.xls.

    Is it possible to open as workbook.xls insted?

    Why would you want that?, if all the workbooks you opened using the template opened as Workbook you would get a conflict!, why not save the file once you have finished with it as whatever name you want automatically?
