This isn't a short-key, but is a quick way of naming a range

    Thx oldchippy..
I'm having a large accounts data sheet . For easy reference i made some names to cell like Granttotal,Tax2007,etc in different place & sheet. I'm using name box to focus (goto) my cell.
In every time, I did... clicking the name box, typing my cell name and got my process. 'focus of name box' having any shortcut-key implementation then i will use that. Do you understand my requirement.?

[All of them like the easiest way to getting their goals.me too...]

Not quite sure I understand, but if you use the drop-down arrow on the names box, that lists all the names in the workbook, so you can click on one of those and quickly get to that range.
