    Hi
It is possible to search and highlight in VBA. But you should give us specific examples since the codes are to be customized.

    Headache*

    Hi Ravi,

    1. Thanks for reading & replying to my thread, appreciate it.

    2. In a workbook I have three worksheets namely,
    a) Old Format
    b) Master Lists
    c) New Format

    3. Objective: Because currently my comp is changing the format of its parts lists(old format) into New format

    4. Master Lists worksheets conatins all parts details, what I need is search through individual parts no (column 5 I think)
through old Format and find it in Master Lists worksheet.

    5. Once located within Master Format> Part No, copy the whole row and do a highlight. so that I can do a manual select
and paste into New Format Worksheet

    6. Is a bit challenging since that In old format I have more than 20 parts lists, and I have do a search & find for 20++ times.

    7. If you think thats easy, hang on. 1 piece of Old format is 1 model, and guess what? My company carrying in thousands of model.

    8. Well, Guess I gotta learn excel programming for this task though.

    9. By the way, do you happen to have any good recommendation of reference books for Excel 2000 Programming ?

    Thanks & God Bless
