    columns :compare two lists

I am trying to compare two columns (A and B) using this formula :
    =isna(match(a2,$b$2:$b$14,false))

I copied this from the excel online help documentation and still excel is giving me the "formula error".
Can anyone tell me what s wrong with it please?

Are you on a non-US version of Excel?

Perhaps the commas need to be replaced with semi-colons.

    e.g.

    =isna(match(a2;$b$2:$b$14;false))
Where there is a will there are many ways.

You will always have to remember about the , to ; difference...

I am not sure that there are many other major differences.
